This is a beautiful 1:16 scale model of a nineteenth century armed cutter of Royal Navy. These fast and efficient cutters were used, among other duties, as coastguard patrol boats and for night raids into enemy ports. The cutter, driven by a fore-and-aft sail and by oars, was armed with one 6- pounder cannon and two 1-pounder falconets. It supposed to have a crew of 12-14 men.
The model was built from a Panart (a trade mark of Mantua Model Group) quality wooden kit during few hundred hours of very careful work. All details were acurately reproduced using premium quality materials, who have the same aspects as on original ship. The model dimensions: length 24.8” (620 mm), height 18” (450 mm).
The show case and transport to customer are not included in the price of the model. You have to pay them separately, as follows:
