Britannia
Britannia, one of the most famous yachts in all times, was built for the Prince of Wales (later King George VII). The ship was launched in 1893, for the purpose of race cruising. Her body, having a length of about 123 feet, is considered a state of the art model of hull, inspiring many other sail yachts.

Sailing for Prince of Wales, Britannia won at her first participation, the well known race America’s Cup. Britannia had a successful racing career between 1893 and 1934, reaching a total of 231 first prizes. The yacht was inherited by George V on his father's death in 1910. King George V was so in loved with this ship that willed that on his death Britannia should be taken out to sea and scuttled. Britannia was sunk off the Isle of Wight in 1936.

This fine scale model was built from a Mantua Model wooden kit. All details were accurately reproduced using premium quality materials, which have the same aspects as on original ship. The model dimensions: length 33” (850 mm), height 44” (1100 mm).

The show case and transport to customer are not included in the price of the model. You have to pay them separately, as follows:
- show case 300 EUR,
- transport: depending on customer location.
